This summer GSoC wasn’t the only thing I was working on. I was also working on my project, gIDLE. My whole summer I was developing gIDLE and then developing my project in gIDLE. 😛 It was fun. I was developing gIDLE and also testing it thoroughly.
gIDLE is yet another Python IDE but it’s speciality is its simplicity and its advanced features. You can find all of the advanced features you expect to be present in an IDE, namely: Syntax Highlighting, Line Numbers, Code Completion, Code Folding and many many others.
gIDLE3 is going to be completed in a few days hopefully (If I didn’t get any other project to work on :P). But still it is very very much usable. Try it.
You download it from http://github.com/abhijangda/gIDLE . Don’t forget to report the bugs.
